What JioPass is

JioPass is a platform that lets event organisers sell tickets. The organiser, not JioPass, is the seller of the ticket and is responsible for the event.

Payments

Most events use Direct PayNow: you pay the organiser's PayNow, then the organiser checks their bank and confirms your payment before your ticket is released. Some events use HitPay, which processes card and PayNow payments for the organiser. JioPass does not hold your ticket money and never sees your card details.

Refunds

Refunds are decided by the organiser. Each event page shows the organiser's refund policy. Contact the organiser using the details on your order page.

Tickets

Each QR code can be used once. Keep it private: anyone who has the QR code can use the ticket.

Organisers

Organisers must provide accurate event information, honour the tickets they sell, confirm payments honestly, and handle attendee data only for running their event. Direct PayNow organisers pay a per-ticket fee and a deposit as shown when they create an event. To cancel an event, contact us: the deposit is refunded minus the per-ticket fee for tickets already sold and a small cancellation fee.

Privacy notice

What we collect

When you buy a ticket we collect your name, email and mobile number, and the details of your order. If you pay by HitPay, card and bank details are collected by HitPay, not by JioPass. If you pay by Direct PayNow, your payment goes to the organiser's bank and we never see your bank details.

Why

To issue your tickets, let the organiser run and check you in to the event, and handle questions or refunds.

Who sees it

The organiser of the event you booked, JioPass, and our service providers (hosting, email, payments). We do not sell your data.

Your rights

You can ask to see or correct your data, or withdraw consent, by contacting the organiser or us. Some records are kept as long as needed for accounting.
